Lecheng welcomes more Singaporean pharmaceutical companies
An online promotional meeting is held by the Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration and Enterprise Singapore on Aug 5.
An online promotion meeting was held by Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) on Aug 5, gathering representatives from 31 Singaporean companies.
Pressing issues related to future cooperation avenues were discussed during the meeting. It is expected that the meeting will enhance communication in medical health between Singaporean pharmaceutical companies and Lecheng, promote the sharing of quality medical resources, and attract more Singaporean pharmaceutical companies to enter the Chinese market.
Lecheng, being a national-level special medical zone, has now gradually formed an industrial cluster in areas spanning cancer treatment, medical beauty and anti-aging, and Singapore has seen rapid development in its medical health and biomedicine industries in the past decade, creating more room for cooperation between Lecheng and Singapore.
An official from ESG noted that the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port will bring developmental opportunities for Singaporean companies and ESG will help Singaporean medical products get licensed in Lecheng.
Fu Zhu, deputy director of the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration, said that Lecheng is now casting eyes on new developmental opportunities as it is pushing forward the prosperity of high-end medical services and international medical tourism.
Fu said that she is looking forward to welcoming representatives from Singaporean pharmaceutical companies to visit Lecheng and carry out more communication and cooperation.
Tan Kai Chah, executive chairman of the Singapore-based Asian American Medical Group (AAMG), said that Lecheng is the starting point of AAMG’s business in China and the group is confident in Lecheng’s future development of its various preferential policies.
