Lecheng, HNU college pair up to boost real-world data research

Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration and HNU's College of Biomedical Engineering sign a contract on Party building and postgraduate training.

Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration inked a deal with the Hainan University (HNU) College of Biomedical Engineering on July 2 to pair up in Party building and the training of postgraduates. 

It is expected that both sides will cultivate more talents in real-world data research, speed up the establishment of a coordinated development pattern integrating medical services, teaching and research, and push forward the construction of Hainan's real-world data research platform.

Fu Zhu, deputy director of Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration, noted that HNU enjoys unique advantages in areas spanning cutting-edge biomedical research, scientific innovation and outcome transfers. She also expressed her gratitude for HNU in supporting Lecheng's pilot operation of real-world data research.

"I hope that both sides can deepen their understanding through this communication, and join hands in discovering an effective model for the joint cultivation of postgraduates and in turning Lecheng into a global hub for real-world data research," she said. 

"Lecheng is a pioneer in real-world research in China, making continuous breakthroughs. HNU will enhance communication and exchanges with Lecheng to provide strong talent and technical support for China's real-world data research development," said Zhang Yunzhu, Party secretary of HNU's College of Biomedical Engineering.
