Zhu Lunjian

Zhu Lunjian, PhD, graduated from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, and  served as Associate Research Fellow of the City of Hope National Cancer Center and Associate Research Fellow of Cedars-Sinai National Medical Center in the United States.

Dr. Zhu is active in research in stem cell technology; including culture, differentiation, and directional induction of embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells (neural stem cells, cardiac stem cells, and islet stem cells).

Dr. Zhu is specialized in molecular biology techniques, including embryonic stem cell culture and differentiation induction, adult mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) culture and differentiation induction DNA sequencing, cDNA library, preparation of genomic DNA, gene expression, PCRRT-PCR, reverse transcriptase detection, DNA subcloning, site-directed mutation, nucleic acid gel electrophoresis and SDS-PAGE electrophoresis as well as Western, Northern, and Southern application techniques.
